Curate A Unique High-Quality Shop
Congratulations, you're up and running on Shopify dropshipping products fulfilled by CJdropshipping! That's no mean feat — you're running a business. Ah, but wait! How do you keep it running? What happens when a product or variant you're selling is discontinued? What happens to your carefully calculated profit when the cost or shipping price changes? Oh goodness, what about changing competition, exchange rates, trade wars?! How on earth do you constantly monitor all these changes and keep what matters up to date — your live product listings? Just look at the possible range of changes over 90 days — data for every Droplla product of course:
Shop Management for the Long-Term
Droplla is your secret weapon for the the ongoing management of your shop. Once your Shopify shop is connected (see here), you can browse the products directly in Droplla. For example, see our demo shop's products in the next screenshot. But hey, what's that? Since the demo shop was created a few of the products are no longer available for dropshipping by CJdropshipping! Darn, the last thing I want is to delay and refund unhappy customers just because I can no longer fulfill their orders - I'll get right on that. Fortunately, I can simply archive those Shopify products directly from this page, phew.
Product Management for the Long-Term
Next you need to be able to update your existing products. Droplla will likely suggest better quality data for your existing CJdropshipping product listings, like SEO optimisations, tags and even improved titles or descriptions. Just hit the Import to Shopify button on any Droplla product detail page and, for a product that's already in your Shopify store, you're given the option to update that existing product.
You will definitely want to review your pricing as cost prices and shipping prices change. Droplla really gives you the edge when working out a selling price. The price calculator gives you all the variables you need, in your shop's currency with the cost price converted using the latest exchange rate. And if that's not enough, hit the little shipping icon next to the variant's sell price field and you can look up estimated shipping costs to make your selling price calculation even more accurate!
Wow. Now you've got a strategy for playing and winning the dropshipping game in the long term!
